This award is open to all IT service and support teams of less than 15 support professionals that help internal or external customers to achieve their business goals and support needs.

How to enter the small team award
THE CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS 16 MARCH 2012.
1. Register your interest for the IT Service Small Team Award - click here
2. Prepare your submission. Write at least 350 words, and no more than 500 words, for each of the judging criteria.
Please note, each section of your submission should be presented in the same order as the Service Desk Standards, and any documentary evidence should be submitted in a separate document and cross referenced to the submission.
3. Provide supporting evidence wherever possible. This could include customer feedback, performance data, testimonials and any other material that demonstrates your achievement of service excellence.
4. Send FIVE copies of your submission to the address below. All entries must be made by post to arrive no later than 16 MARCH 2012.

5. Each entry will be reviewed thoroughly against the judging criteria and a shortlist prepared.
6. The judges will visit the shortlisted entrants for a 20 minute presentation and a 1.5 hour observation of their desk.
7. The three finalists will be required to join a live discussion panel at SDI's Annual Conference and to create a 2 minute video to be played during the awards dinner.
8. The industry elite at the conference will cast their votes for their favourite team based on a synopsis of your submission, prepared by you. The results will be added to the judge's scores to determine the final winner.
