The awards criteria for 2009 is based on the SDI Service Desk Certification Standards of Best Practice and entrants to the 2009 awards will be judged against this criteria.

An international committee comprising industry experts, service management professionals and practitioners review our Standards every 3 years to ensure that they align with the needs and demands of the industry. In March 2008 we updated and refreshed our individual standards ensuring that they are consistent with and complement ITIL® V3.
